Slip Resistant Mats

Buyer’s Guide to Choosing Slip-Resistant Mats

Slip-resistant mats help improve footing in commercial areas where floors may become wet, greasy or exposed to food and cleaning residue. They are suitable for kitchens, food preparation areas, wash stations and other workplaces where staff spend long periods standing.

Insinc’s Kleen Kushion mats combine a cushioned standing surface with a textured design for added stability. They are available in three sizes to suit individual workstations and larger shared areas.

Which Mat Size Should You Choose?

The compact 880 x 620mm mat suits individual workstations and smaller spaces. The 1400 x 870mm option provides more movement room, while the larger 1800 x 1200mm mat is suitable for wider work zones and shared stations.

Choose a size that covers the main standing area without obstructing doors, walkways or equipment.

How Should Slip-Resistant Mats Be Maintained?

Clean the mat regularly to remove grease, food residue and chemical build-up that could reduce surface grip. The floor beneath the mat should also be kept clean and dry.

Place the mat flat on a stable surface and inspect it routinely for worn edges, damage or movement that could create a trip hazard.
