Buyer’s Guide to Choosing Empty Bottles

Empty storage bottles are useful for decanting, diluting and dispensing cleaning chemicals, soaps and other compatible liquids. Insinc’s range includes 500ml and 1-litre bottles, 5-litre jerry cans, screw caps, flip-top lids, disc-top caps, lotion pumps and funnels.

Smaller bottles suit washrooms, cleaning cupboards and individual workstations, while 5-litre jerry cans are practical for storing larger quantities or transferring products from bulk containers.

Which Bottle Closure Should You Choose?

Screw caps provide secure storage and transport, while flip-top and disc-top lids allow controlled pouring. Lotion pumps are suitable for hand wash, soap and other compatible liquids that need measured dispensing.

Always match the closure to the bottle neck size. Products marked 28/410 must be paired with a compatible 28/410 bottle, while 5-litre industrial containers may require a 38/410 pump or closure.

How Should Empty Bottles Be Used Safely?

Clearly label each bottle with the product name, dilution and relevant safety information. Avoid transferring chemicals into food or drink containers, and never mix different cleaning products inside the same bottle.

Use a suitable funnel when transferring liquids to reduce spills, and check that the bottle material and closure are compatible with the product being stored.
