Bamboo Dish Cloth or Cellulose Sponge?

Bamboo dish cloths provide a reusable option for wiping benches, drying compatible surfaces and handling general kitchen cleaning. Their heavier 300gsm construction suits repeated commercial use when correctly washed and maintained.

Cellulose sponges are absorbent and useful for washing dishes, wiping spills and cleaning smooth surfaces. They are available in blue, green, pink and yellow for separating different tasks or cleaning zones.

How Should Dish Cloths Be Colour-Coded?

Assign each colour to a specific area or purpose, such as food-preparation benches, dishwashing stations or general cleaning. Use the same colour system consistently and keep cloths used for floors, bins or washrooms out of food-service areas.

Rinse cloths and sponges after use, allow them to dry thoroughly and wash or replace them regularly. Antibacterial materials do not remove the need for proper cleaning, storage and hygiene procedures.
